PEOPLE'S PARK REOPENS AFTER THE FIRE of February 8, 2011!

Exactly three years to the day PEOPLE'S PARK originally opened (and ten months after an extensive renovation following a disasterous electrical fire) we reopened our restaurant to the most delightful throng of enthusiastic previous clients and friends! Sweet Potato Fries are back (along with everything we served before the fire)!!!

About a month into the rebuilding process of restoring PEOPLE'S PARK back to what it had been prior to the fire, my brother and I decided to take a major leap of faith and begin a major expansion of our restaurant. The brainstorming sessions were long and exciting... What could we turn our place into? My design brain went in so many different directions!

The result is a two level interior dining area with an exciting outdoor rooftop deck! The new second floor and the rooftop deck each boast a new complete bar to service each area and an interior design concept that is completely different, but very complimentary to our existing design. We also expanded our dining on the first floor into the adjoing building to the south... great place to have a gathering for up to 16 people!

The people of Waukesha have been outstanding friends and neighbors to our family over these past ten months... and we are very grateful. Thanks from the bottoms of our hearts.

Please give us a week or two to adjust to a much larger and complex business. Our intention is to return to delivering the same well-received food (and a few new items soon!) as expeditiously as possible --and with the same friendly and personal attention we were able to accomplish before... in an environment that is filled with fantastic PEOPLE!
